User Group Meeting - January 15, 2008

Hi All,

The next Atlanta User Group meeting will be held January 15, 2008. During the Administrator Birds of a Feather meeting at the recent City Tour, a large percentage of admins had questions/concerns surrounding data integrity. In response, our next user group meeting will focus on best practices and ways to manage your data.

We will host Mark Esdale from CRMfusion, who will discuss the importance of clean data, ideas on to how to cleanse your data and how to manage the process moving forward. You may have seen Mark at Dreamforce, where he led several sessions about data integrity. If you missed Mark at Dreamforce, now is a great time to get to see his presentation. If you were lucky enough to attend one of his sessions, this meeting will allow for a more in depth discussion. Mark will also have a cool give-away for each attendee.

To ensure that we have a healthy discussion around what is possible within the application, I am looking for admins who are willing to discuss and/or demonstrate what they have implemented to successfully manage their data. If you are interested in sharing your experiences, please contact me directly.

Please RSVP via email by Wednesday, January 9, 2008.

I look forward to meeting on the 15th.

I have been a User twice with SFDC, once as the SVP of commerical Information Systems at Sun Trust and VP of Channels and Alliances at Network Physics. I also was the CTO at Growth Circle now Astadia and have deployed SFDC over 100 times. I developed the Dun & Bradstreet app exchange package and have many best practices around data cleansing, data modeling and data migration. Here's looking forward to having a healthy dialogue around data!

My company (Avaya, Inc.) has just purchased SFDC, so this is a new application for me. I look forward to participating in the group.

Our company, Reference-Online, would like to offer to host an upcoming User Group Mtg in Atlanta. Also, please contact me about the opportunity to present our Customer Reference Mgmt solutions. We have several SFDC customers in the Atlanta area including ADP and Manhattan. Look forward to see all at the next meeting.

I am a new user to SFDC also and interested in a User Group function. When is the next one?

tks
Sharon
