Responsibilities:
• Partner with managers in Marketing, Sales, and Services to understand the business needs; Gather requirements and work with various parts of the organization to create meaningful Salesforce.com reports and dashboards.
• Internal expert in Salesforce application functionality, technology, customization, and development.
• Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements; write technical approach and design documentation supporting business needs; create development and integration plans.

Requirements:
• 5 + years of Salesforce.com Architecture, Design, Development, Administration and Operational Support required; Salesforce.com Certified Developer preferred.
• Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
• Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit - Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs.
• Strong web development skills including CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, XML
• Strong SDLC experience
• Technical skills: XML, HTML and CSS, SOAP, XML, JavaScript, AJAX
• Working knowledge of data warehousing, Informatica ETL, Informatica and PowerExchange.
• Services Oriented Design Principles (SOA)
• Object Oriented Development Skills (Java, .Net)
• Advanced knowledge of data management, SQL and RDMS technologies.

Position Title: Sales Analyst (potentially a Contract/Project position)

Location: Newton, MA  

Position Summary:

Sales Analyst, reporting to the VP of Marketing, is a contract, project based position. Main duties include supporting the LightWedge Sales & Marketing team by managing all aspects of Salesforce.com (CRM) system administration and creating weekly and ad hoc sales reports and analyses. This candidate will be required to support and work with executives from across the entire organization.

 Responsibilities

·         Serve as salesforce.com administrator, develop reports and dashboards per management reporting needs, set up external reps and internal personnel with appropriate permissions and views,  etc.

·         Prepare weekly sales and ad hoc reports for management using POS data from retailers, shipping and sales information from Quickbooks and other systems.

·         Analyze market and POS data and competitive product environment to monitor sales movement and market share.

·         Perform product, sales program and customer margin analysis and other analytics.

·         With management, develop and maintain annual sales forecasts for new and existing products. Work with supply chain analysts to ensure inventory coverage targets are met and maintained.

Skills Required:

·         Extensive and in-depth knowledge and skill with salesforce.com CRM software

·         Great conceptual and analytical mind with ability to identify and quantify significant business opportunities.

·         Significant experience analyzing POS from key accounts and conducting market research

·         Proven ability to problem-solve and produce results in entrepreneurial, fast-paced business environment. Ability to work well under pressure, handling several deadline projects simultaneously.

·         Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills.

Experience/Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science or related field. M.B.A. or related graduate degree preferred. Significant related experience Sales Force Automation and/or CRM software.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a well rounded and flexible techno-functional business analyst with solid SalesForce Applications

(both CRM and custom applications) experience to help roll out our new SFDC custom School Information System app

among other duties.

Our SFDC development partner is building the application and we need someone to help with coordination of activities

between the business teams and vendor, finalizing any last business requirements, testing, bug tracking, and most

importantly driving the roll-out to our multi-region business during the summer and fall of 09’.

The candidate will also help integrate our SFDC instance with our Taleo Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with a tool

called Cast Iron. Cast Iron is an ETL tool therefore the candidate must have previous ETL and data mapping experience.

ATS experience would be helpful along with other SaaS applications like ADP.com and Moodle.

General Responsibilities

:

Project Coordination: Must have proven project coordination skills: Meeting facilitation, Issue Escalation and

Resolution, Risk Identification and Mitigation, Vendor Management, Superb Written and Oral Communication Skills,

Team Player, Clear Headed. Prior PMO experience.

Testing: Responsible for both conducting testing as well as coordinating testing. Assuring bugs are reported, tracked and

resolved with vendor. Coordinate business user testing and facilitate testing between business and vendor.

Requirements Analysis: Gather requirements from business and translate to vendor, assure clear understanding and

requirements documents are accurate. Assure all requirements are met in final deliverable.

Applications Integration: SaaS Application integration/ETL – Proven experience moving and mapping data between

SaaS applications, defining business logic with end users and transforming into technical data flow solutions with tools

like Boomi and Cast Iron (Cast Iron preferred). Data Migration experience.

Application Implementation: Must have prior large scale application implementation experience. User adoption and

working with users to adapt to change. Work closely with vendor to craft implementation plans and drive actual

implementation.

SalesForce CRM Adoption:

Implement SalesForce best practices for Security, Workflow, Sales, Account, Opportunity, Pipleline, Reports

etc...

Help drive common business processes (employee status change, time off request etc…) into custom Salesforce

workflow automation applications and objects.

AppExchange applications experience, selection, implementation and adoption.

Daily Operations: Use of Salesforce Cases for application team ticket management and escalation. Use of SalesForce

Change Management tool for managing change. Salesforce configuration changes and enhancements. Assistance with

monthly billing process in SQL Reporting Server. General Microsoft SQL activities. Maintain Internet Connections

Intranet software package.

Technical Requirements

:

Required:

Broad SalesForce (SFDC) platform experience (broad, not necessarily deep)
