New Date for February Meeting

Hi everyone~

In order to assemble the best panel of experts possible, I need to change the date for the Feb. 2008 User Group Meeting.  New date is Wednesday February 20th.  The format is going to be "Ask an Expert" panel discussion.  After the first of the month I will send out the details regarding time and location.

I'll also ask for early submissions of questions that you would like to have addressed by the panel.  I am sure I will be able to group many questions into topics.  Early submission of these will allow me to prepare the panel so that you get the best possible response.  We'll also allow time for general Q&A and networking at the event.

I am very excited that our membership keeps growing!  We get new users joining every week, so I am sure that this will be a great meeting.

More soon!

Cathy

Happy New Year -- Save the Date.

Happy New Year Everyone!

With a fruitful holiday season behind us, many of us will need to turn our thoughts and efforts to writing the dreaded Thank You note.  Of course one thing that has probably happened to all of us at one point in our lives is that we wait too long to write that note.  Eventually it becomes so long overdue that you aren't quite sure which is more embarrassing -- writing a long overdue note, or just skipping it all together!  That is pretty much how I feel about how long it has taken me to get this update out to you all!  I've meant to do it just about every day for the last month, but just never got it done.  Of course I don't have the option to just skip it all together, so I'll just have to deal with my embarrassment!

For those of you who were in attendence, I don't have to tell you what a HUGE success our last meeting was.  More people showed up than anticipated, and we had standing room only!  Many thanks to the folks at Lucidera for sponsoring that meeting for us, and to Patrick Taylor from Saleforce.com who gave us an overview of Winter '08.

Save the date for our next meeting -- TUESDAY FEBRUARY 12th.  Location and Time still TBD.  The format for this meeting will be an "Ask an Expert" panel discussion.  The number one thing that everyone wants to know more about is how to maximize all of the standard Salesforce.com functionality.  I hope that this format proves to be very useful.  Stay tuned for more details.

To all the vendors who have offered to sponsor a meeting -- I will be in touch.
