First Brisbane User Group Recap

Hi all,

On behalf of salesforce.com, I would like to thank all those who came along to Brisbane's first User Group meeting on 17 April 2008.  It was a huge success!

To recap the meeting, Luke Sirl of Rain Harvesting Pty Ltd volunteered to be our new Brisbane User Group Leader. Thanks and congratulations Luke!  I spoke about our Customer Success Program and also informed you about some of our latest Spring '08 release features, in particular Salesforce Content and Ideas. And we finished the night off with some networking and had fun getting to know each other better.

Additional points to remember are the Force.com seminar that Dana mentioned that is being held on May 8th in Brisbane. Also remember that the next administrator workshop in Brisbane is in late May for those that want to attend. And finally we mentioned the new announcement of our Strategic Partnership with Google and the exciting news of our integration with Google Apps.

We definitely look forward to the next User group, Luke! :)  In the meantime, please encourage other Brisbane customers to sign up to join your user group via the Usergroups Homepage.

Thanks again,

Megan Turner - Customer Success Manager

First Brisbane User Group Meeting

Please come and join us for the first Brisbane User Group!

When: Thursday April 17th

Time:  5:30pm-7pm

Where: Sofitel Brisbane

            249Turbot Street

            Brisbane, QLD 4000

Come and join fellow salesforce.com customers for an informal and relaxed networking session.

The user community is one of the best places to learn how to extend the value of your investment in salesforce.com and to discover new and innovative ways to drive even more success at your business.

We strongly encourage you to participate in our first meeting and help develop this User Group because this forum is all about YOU and what you would like to get out of it.

The user group is run autonomously BY customers FOR customers! It will be a huge success if you help drive it, and because of that, in our first meeting, we will be electing a User Group leader (volunteers are welcome!).

This is also an opportunity to meet salesforce.com professionals to discuss new features of our Spring 08 release and answer any questions you may have.

Come along and learn how you can actively participate in your local User Group and network with your peers through the salesforce.com community.

We look forward to seeing you there!
