Great May Meeting

Great turnout for our May 13th meeting!  It was a good mix of regular attendees and new faces. I hope all enjoyed the opportunity to share ideas/questions/solutions and meet some new folks.  THANK YOU! For those of you who couldn't attend, we look forward to seeing you in mid-July.

We had a customer presentation by Kevin Richardson, CRM Systems Administrator at FreemanSalesforce Ideas (A Case Study). As often occurs, success centers around planning and strategy. This one was no different. We'll follow up on this case in 6 months or so and see how things have changed.

It was also announced that Scott Kincaid is stepping down as User Group leader to take a Usability Testing position at Salesforce.com. In the coming weeks Scott and his family will be moving to Northern California. We owe Scott a huge THANK YOU for all of the work he has done to lead and grow the user group. Scott, you will be missed and you are welcome to join us anytime you're back in Dallas.

With Scott leaving it was also announced that Kevin Richardson will assume co-leadership responsibilites working with Laura Hendrix. Kevin is a long time Salesforce administrator and developer and is excited to work with Laura to continue to make the Dallas User Group a collaborative network of Admins helping Admins.

Lastly, Scott gave us a great overview of Analytic Snapshots. No doubt something that in one way or another we can all make good use of.

A BIG thank you to Nancy Simbala with ReachLocal for again providing a great space for us to meet and collaborate.

The next meeting will be in mid-July.  More details to follow in the coming month.  Stay tuned!

Best,

Kevin & Laura

Hi im Clinton, Kevin said I should post my question so maybe we can talk about it in June.

I am entering data into SF using Web to Anything. I have run into a little snag when it comes to multi picklists on the web side.

My multi picklist field name (Other_Promotions_del__c) allows me to select everything I want but only the last item selected in the multi picklist is sent to SF. See below code.

When I enter in this test data *the form was in debug mode* the multi select list will allow you to multi select but as you can see the array only has the last value that was selected in the multi picklist "(Sake, ect)".

//
Thank you for submiting the form.
Array of fields/values collected from the submitted form:

[Greater_Savings__c] => YES

For anyone who wants to see the HTML source code for the multi picklist.

If there were other promotions going on in the store at the same time of your promotion what were they?
Select all that apply:

None
Wine
Beer
Spirits
Other alcohol (Sake, ect)

sorry about the HTML the submit forms obviously accept HTML and converts it.
