DreamForce 09
If you weren't able to attend DreamForce this year, all the presentation have been made available at the Salesforce Community site.
The developer network also provides technical details and examples on integrating with Amazon, Facebook and Force.com Sites.
Salesforce developer network has an excellent tutorial on how you can integrate Google Visualization API with Salesforce data to provide users with a new more visual way to look at their data.
It uses the new Force.com Visualization toolkit that is hosted on Google's Code Share site.
This really shows the power and flexability of cloud computing.
Salesforce Winter 09 resources
Please visit the Salesforce developer site for information on the new Winter 09 release.
This site also has a free webinar that highlights some of the features with examples of how to implement them.
Stay tuned for more updates from Dreamforce and the date for the next user group meeting.
Bluewolf Unveils First SaaS Support Program
Bluewolf is now offering subscription based support and development. See the article in The Wall Street journal.
This is taking the whole notion of SaaS (Software as a service), PaaS (Platform as a service) and now implementing support staff as a service. They also are offering custom development (APEX, VisualForce). It will be interesting to see how this develops and if more companies offer these services specifically for cloud computing.
Show Messages to Select users easily - Home Tab Messaging
CRM FYI has a great write up on a tool that many of you may find useful. Home Tab Messaging (an app exchange application) allows you to setup messages with start and end dates and also what profiles the message should appear for.
Please check out the article here.
Let me know if you find articles like this useful or if you have any other ideas that you would like to share with the community
