Salesforce.com System Administrator
Position Description: Immediate opening for a new Salesforce.com System Administrator for a large, Houston-based oil and gas company. Basically, this role requires someone to get the application off the ground and running quickly. This is just the sales force automation piece of SFDC and does not include any of the marketing or customer service functionality.
Responsibilities:
• Assess current SFDC tool for effectiveness and design accuracy. Make any changes to fields, settings, business rules as needed.
• Manage all aspects of the System Admin functionality including opportunity management, account and contact management, activity management, analytics and forecasting.
• Gather requirements for development of new reports and create applicable dashboards.
• Employ methods to gain/increase user adoption.
• Train all users on current and future functionality.
• Ability to design and create any necessary custom applications as well as ability to integrate SFDC with existing tools.
• Implement any AppExchange applications that may be applicable.
• Ability to work with all levels of the Sales organization, including senior management.
Qualifications:
• Deep experience with Salesforce.com: product knowledge, product offerings, overall administrative functionality.
• Excellent analytical, decision making, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of the Sales organization, including senior management.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with general guidance that may be limited at times.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry highly desired.
