Focus On S-Controls
Thanks very much to Sofia Works for sponsoring our meeting on 06 September, and walking us through S-Controls. Thanks also to fellow User Group members, Kerry Townsend from Flowmaster and Joe Feltham from Teach First, for your valuable contributions and insights into how S-Controls have helped you to resolve business process issues within your respective organisations. Thanks also to Mia Farlam for Chairing the meeting.
The feedback from the meeting has been extremely positive and I’m happy to point out the presentations from the meeting are attached to this post.
We are now looking for suggestions on topics for our next meeting scheduled for October; please do let me know what you want to cover.
Kind regards
James McGill

I am keen to participate in the user group, but this makes the third meeting on the trot which I've missed because the meetins were changed to during work hours. I often cannot get away that early. What was the matter with the 6pm start?

James - Dan said that you/he would be posting his code samples too ?
Thanks.

I have no particular topics in mind (apart from cynically suggesting "how do we get Salesforce to give us the Apex coding functionality they promised us"). For me it's all about getting together with other serious users, and there's the problem - to get to London (why is it always London?) for a meeting means persuading my boss that this is not a jolly and that I should take the best part of a day off work.
How about 6pm somewhere outside the M25 for a change, eg High Wycombe, or Harlow? Better still, Birmingham...

Yes please, I agree with Roger, could there be a meeting north of the M25 so we Midlanders can go without looking like we're just off on a jolly day out?

I am also looking for the promised code samples!
