Adoption Dashboards
Hi everyone. Adoption dashboards are great reporting tools that can provide managers and administrators with tangible metrics to help monitor and improve user adoption across your organization. We would like to share with you the adoption dashboards that were posted to the AppExchange this week!!
Here you will find an example of a Hall of Shame dashboard mentioned at our city tour event a few weeks ago, (see Adoption Usage Dashboard Folder), as well as many other dashboards that are great for tracking not only adoption but also data quality and business performance. And it's FREE!

Take a test drive of each and pick the one that works best for your company. Then simply download the Dashboards and Reports for modification in your own environment.
Also make sure to write a quick review. This information is very valuable to other customers as well as the authors of the AppExchange apps.
Enjoy!

Tips and Tricks from the User Group meeting
Hello everyone, thanks for attending User Group meeting last week. I hope you got some value from it.
As promised here is a list of pointers to the Tips that I covered last week.
- To create your own Tips and Tricks tab, copy the source of this document and change it to display your own content. The upload it into your Document tab. Click "view document" and copy the URL from the browser. Now use that URL as the target for a new "Web Tab" in the "build" section of Setup.
- For more information about the "Upsert" API & external IDs click here
- To add the free "OrgView" tool to your Account page, create a new Account Custom link with the following formula: https://www.dreamfactory.com/orgview/orgview.html? sessionid={!API_Session_ID}& serverurl={!API_Partner_Server_URL_70}& username={!User_Username}& fullname={!User_FullName}& linkid={!Account_ID}& userid={!User_ID}
- Displaying Stock charts for Accounts requires a custom field to store the ticker symbol. Once you have this field, create one more formula field to display the chart using the following formula: IMAGE("http://ichart.finance.yahoo.com/t?s="& {!Stock_Symbol__c} , "Stock Chart") NOTE : in this example my stock ticker field is called "Stock Symbol" so be sure to use this or tweak the formula if you use another field name.
- The Appexchange Quoting application can be found by clicking here. Note : this does not yet contain the printer shown in the User Group. The team behind this application will soon release a new version with a printing solution.
- The Appexchange Call Scripting application is available here. Note that this script engine is connected to Leads and requires some technical work to be connected to Cases. There is a new version in the works that will make it easier to use with Cases.
Please don't hesitate to contact your CSM if you have questions about any of these Tips and anything else that we can assist with.
Regards, Steve Buikhuizen.
