Meeting Tonight

Hello everyone,

Just a reminder that we will be meeting tonight. The Agenda is pretty simple. Introduce ourselves to one another; discuss what you hope to get out of the user group. Set dates for subsequent meetings and the Agenda for those meeting; decide on locations for those meetings, and the frequency of meetings.

Thanks

James Alton

1st meeting Montreal User Group

Hello Everyone,

It is finally going to happen the 1st Montreal User Group meeting. It has taken some time to put this together as we wanted to find a place that could accommodate more than 20 people. We are still working on the agenda and will post it on Sunday night. We are going to cover Best Practices and also Project Management and user adoption. We have lots of time to explore other areas and questions that users may have.

We would also like to hear from everyone on what they would like the meetings to be centralized around for future meetings. We are also thinking of having more than one meeting a month if there is an interested and possible breaking those meeting into two user groups. One for advanced user and one for people just getting started.

So far we have only 5 people who replied to say they would attend, I hope there are more people interested, if you have any questions please give me call anytime. You can reach me by email: james.alton@globalvsm.com or on my Cell: 514-743-0902

First Meeting

Hello Everyone,

Sorry it has taken awhile to get this going but we are ready now to have our first meeting. I would like to suggest that we meet July 24, 2008 somewhere downtown. There are approximately 45 People that are interested therefore if anyone can suggest a location that can accommodated this number of people or at least 25 people as I am sure some people will not be able to attend.

I would suggest a meeting time of 7:00 PM Please let me know if you intend on attending.

Thanks

Great Respone from Montreal Users

Hello Everyone,

I want to thank everyone that signed up. Looks as if we could be a fairly large group. I will be contacting everyone today by email with a draft agenda and would like your comments and feedback.

I would like to maybe meet June 26 Thursday, I know this is short notice and that people already have commitments or vacation plans, however I would like to keep the momentum going and we could use this first meeting to set subsequent meetings and agenda's and to meet each other and explore everyones interest and what they hope to get out of this group.

PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING ON JUNE 26th

The summer 08 release I am sure is on everyones mind, I would like to know from each of you if there is a particular area you are interested in.

One of our members has offered a location for our meeting, I will be contacting this person today and will post the details later tonight.

Thanks again for your interest and support,

James Alton

1st Meeting Summer 08 Release

Hello Everyone,

With the Summer 08 Release approaching us quickly, I would like to setup the first Montreal Users Group meeting around the 3rd week in June.

I would like to know everyone's interest and any specifics that you would like to cover in this meeting. We should also create an agenda of topics you would like to cover for subsequent meetings. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in attending so we can find the appropriate location, suggestions welcome.

Also how often would people like to meet, and any other suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Look forward in meeting everyone,

James Alton
