BoardwalkTech Presentation
I've offered BoardwalkTech an opportunity to show us their product, the BCP Enterprise Report Manager. If you integrate your organization exports reports to Excel frequently, you might be interested in this product. It's a hosted solution that maintains historical records of your Salesforce.com reports within Excel, allowing report owners to track changes, consolidate input from multiple users, and maintain version control.
Designing Effective Dashboards
I was helping one of the NHUG members (Suzy Webb) out last month, giving her a basic primer on creating Dashboards. Time to kick it up a notch and get fancy! We'll show you where to get some pre-made Dashboards, how to create multi-column tables (rather than just the standard 2-column table), and more. If you're interested in sharing your Dashboards with the group, please let me know -- I think User Group members would be interested to see how other companies use this feature.
Secure Your Data
One of the big concerns that many companies have with remotely-hosted solutions is security. And for good reason -- Cybercrime-as-a-Service is adapting and targeting practioners of this technology. Salesforce.com provides several layers for securing your data -- are you doing everything you should be doing to keep your data safe? Come find out!
Tips and Tricks
