Introducing the New AppExchange!

The Salesforce.com AppExchange is a hot topic of discussion at both User Group Meetings and Salesforce user conferences.  This month, at the New Hampshire User Group meeting, Sara Bright and Ryan Ellis of Salesforce.com will join us to talk about the new AppExchange (running on Force.com), which was launched this past month.  There are a lot of new features in the new AppExchange, and the Salesforce Product Team will walk us through them all.

AppExchange Applications, Tools and Components You Can Download for Free!

After having the Salesforce AppExchange product team tell us about the new site, I thought User Group members might want to try it out – and see what apps they can download for free!  Scott Hemmeter (ArrowPointe) is one of my favorite follows on Twitter, and as a Salesforce.com Developer, I’m a big fan of his blog (http://sfdc.arrowpointe.com/).  Scott has designed a number of apps that can be downloaded from the AppExchange, and he’s offered to give a presentation on these, as well as some 3rd party apps that he's used over the years, and found to be either free or well-worth the money.

Member Spotlight: Ken Quast (Melexis)

A regular and favorite feature of the New Hampshire User Group Meetings has been Member Spotlight.  In this segment, a User Group member presents on how their organization is using Salesforce.com, showing off the customizations and features they’re taking advantage of in the platform.  Seeing how other Customers have deployed and are using the product has proven a great way to get ideas on what YOU can do in your Salesforce deployment.  Come check it out!

Tips, Tricks and Best Practices

Have a SFDC-related problem that you need solved?  Want to learn some new tips and tricks?  Bring one problem or dilema that you need solved, and see if our team of user group members can provide the answer or solution you've been searching for!

As always, we preserve the last 30 minutes for networking, open forum discussion, tips and tricks -- and neat features coming in the Spring'09 Release!  NOTE: This segment is a little more difficult to hear on the conference bridge (as speakers are around the room, away from the microphone), so my early appologies to the remote participants if you can't hear us!

RSVP Required:
Please reply to this eMail, and/or please post a reply comment on the NH User Group Blog.

Who should attend?
SFDC New Hampshire User Group meetings are generally targeted towards the SFDC "champions" within an organization.  This includes administrators, implementers, power users, developers, etc.  It's a great chance to network with other Salesforce.com users.

Invite a work colleague to join you!  Chances are you'll both take away different ideas from the discussion topics, and will be able to talk about them during the commute home or back at the office.  If you do pass the invitation on to others, please have them register for the New Hampshire User Group here:
