Vermont Nonprofit looking for help and Cloudforce Boston!

Hi everyone,

One of our user group members is look for some assistance with their Salesforce implementation.  Here is their request:

"Craft Emergency Relief Fund (www.craftemergency.org) is a nonprofit based in Montpelier, VT that provides emergency relief assistance and emergency preparedness resources to craft artists nationwide.

We have been using the Enterprise edition of Salesforce for four years. A description of the customizations to our version can be found at http://cvnp.typepad.com/blog/2005/04/salesforce_as_n.html. We are considering moving to the nonprofit template, but first want to see it in use by an organization that is using its full functionality. We have done a bit of research on the subject and we have used the trial version, but we feel it would be very helpful to work with another organization for a bit before a final decision.

If you are in Vermont, maybe sitting down with a few of us for part of a day will be all we need. If a meeting is not workable, maybe a few virtual sessions over a couple of weeks would do it. Sometime in the next month or two would be ideal for us.

Please contact Les Snow at les@craftemergency.org if you're interested.  Thanks for considering this request."

Also, if you weren't already aware, next Thursday, 3/26 is the Salesforce "Cloudforce" event here in Boston.  Here is the direct link to register for the event: http://www.salesforce.com/events/customer/local-user-groups/70130000000EfENAA0.jsp  If that doesn't work, you can go the Salesforce Events page and look for Boston: http://www.salesforce.com/events/

I'll be there for at least part of the day.  There will be a Salesforce Foundation table and Birds of a Feather sessions over lunch.  Hope to see you there!

Marc
