Letter asking for feedback - please reply...

Hi there!
Sent this letter out today to all our group members, but for those of you lurking on the fringes of the group blog who havent yet signed up, I thought I would invite your feedback too.

have a read and come back to me!

regards

Ciaran...

For all non-profits, this year will be tough, especially in obtaining funding and getting interest from a public that is burnt out on the economic roller-coaster.  The corporate sector is feeling this as well – although a number of companies seem to be treating this like an opportunity.

Salesforce.com’s EMEA marketing leadership team is keen to donate some of their time to work with leaders of non-profits to help with:

    * Creating the best pitch
    * Dealing with the media
    * Optimising your internet footprint
    * Organising events that make a difference
    * Super-charging giving

This seems to be a brilliant opportunity to get advice for free!  They are offering to hold 4 meetings spread over the year – each will build on the last to deliver real value to non-profit organisations.  They have asked me to reach out and understand if there is an interest in this, and if there are specific issues that they might tackle.

So my ask is... Please could you give me feedback on what content you think your organisation might like included in such free events.

If you don't deal with things from a marketing / media  perspective, then please forward this email onto anyone in your organisation who might be interested in this opportunity.

All the feedback I get will be forwarded to Salesforce and I will keep you all posted on the plan.

Hoping you are all as excited by this opportunity as I am.

Looking forward to your feedback

Regards

New features for Non profit Starter package

For those of you using the non profit edition, this webinar might be of interest.  It walks you through using the new edition that the team at Salesforce have been working on.  Personally I don't use it, so found it hard to stick with the Webinar covering it, but for those of you who do, its well worth taking a look.  The presenters were very adamant that you shouldn't try installing this new version unless you are very comfortable with the idea of backing up your data structure and being able to rebuild it!  so if that puts fear in your heart, then don't push yourself just yet :-)

this recording only works on windows 2000 upwards, apologies mac users, you will need to jump to windows or borrow a mates desktop to get to the goodies :-)
