It's been brought to my attention that I'm not very good at keeping this blog up to date.  Guilty as charged.  I will make a real effort to do that from now on...

We had a terrific meeting this morning! Thanks to the WizMagic / Online Training Academy Team for the use of their facility and the thought-provoking presentation.  For those of you who missed it, WizMagic has done an amazing job integrating the many aspects of Online Trading Academy's business into their Salesforce.com implementation.  WizMagic is a certified Salesforce.com partner, by the way.  Feel free to contact them if you need any assistance with YOUR implementation.

Following the presentation, we broke into Birds-of-a-Feather groups:  Sales, Marketing, New Admins, and Advanced Admins.  I am pleased with the results!  Many thanks to Tiffany Caruthers (Saleforce.com), Tim Dunlea (Eloqua), Brandy Colmer (Cetco) and Darcy Golubovic (SalesGenie) who moderated the discussions. This is definitely a format we plan to stick with.  I don't know what happened in the other groups, but some of the things we discussed in the Advanced Admin Group included the Spring 09 release features, Master-Detail relationships, and using Field Update Workflow.

I mentioned that we have a Group on Facebook - I'm working on changing that to a 'Fan Page' which I think will better serve our needs.  Give me a day or two to get this up (I have to do my *real* job :)) and, if you are a member of Facebook, join us.  Look for "Salesforce.com Orange County User Group."

I think that's it for now.  Our next meeting will be scheduled for May!
