Please join us for our next Ottawa Salesforce User Group meeting on Thursday October 16th between 8:30-10:30am. The meeting will be held at Nexient office in the Holland Cross building at 1600 Scott Street in Ottawa (corner of Holland and Scott).
Note: You will have to pay for parking in the underground parking in the Holland Cross building.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows.

• Salesforce 101 Presentation & Discussion is a case study on the migration of the Partner Portal at Tundra Semiconductor. Greg Flick of Tundra Semiconductor will walk us through their recent deployment of their Partner Portal, covering the things to watch out for and the benefits. 

• Deep Dive Presentation & Discussion on DemandTools, which is one of the popular AppExchange tools that Salesforce Administrators use for data manipulation. Tim Rees from Nexient will walk us through how he uses DemandTools for the following types of tasks:

1. Importing of data from another system into Salesforce
2. Organization changes 
3. Mass Backups
4. Clean up of duplicates
5. Lead conversions
6. Working with Trade Show lists.

• Group Think – Open Questions & Answer. Please bring your salesforce related questions. Hopefully others in the meeting will be able to help you in finding an answer/solution to your questions.
