Phoenix User Group Inaugural Meeting

Welcome to the Salesforce.com Phoenix User Group, newly established as of February 2008.

Our first meeting is scheduled for March 27, at 6:00 PM, at the Scottsdale Public Library, Civic Center branch, Gold Meeting Room, in downtown Scottsdale.  Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible. In the meantime please register as a Phoenix user group member on Salesforce.com's Community site at http://usergroups.salesforce.com/.

Our first meeting will focus on getting acquainted and establishing members' interests and preferences for discussion topics. I have also invited our local Salesforce.com Sales Engineer to present highlights of key new features in the Spring 08 release. After the presentation, we will share stories of members' successes and best practices using Salesforce.com.  Your input is encouraged. If you're interested in attending the first meeting, please be sure to register as a member of the Phoenix Users Group.

I look forward to meeting you.

Regarding Spring '08 new features...

Did you know that with the Spring ’08 “Outer Joins Reporting” feature you can better ensure that your reports leave nothing out?

Did you know that with the Spring ’08 "Opportunity Rollups on Accounts” feature you can now automatically calculate key opportunity metrics and display them on the related Account record?

Did you know that with the Spring ’08 “Dashboard Scheduling” feature you can schedule when your dashboards are refreshed and even email the refreshed dashboard to the appropriate audience?

Our guest speaker, Brad Phillips, Sales Engineer from Salesforce.com will demonstrate some of these new features and how to setup.

Come ready to have some pizza and learn more with new friends.
