Phoenix

Meeting Notes - Jan. 22, 2009

At our January 22, 2009, Phoenix User Group meeting, we had three good presentations on current topics related to Salesforce.com.

Brad Phillips, from Salesforce.com, did a great job as usual presenting an overview of Force.com Sites, which was unveiled at DreamForce.  Brad also followed later with a brief preview of key new features coming out in the Spring '09 release.

Brian Falkner presented a functional overview of his company's award-winning AppExchange application called BigMachines Configured Price Proposals (CPP). BigMachines appears to be a strong add-on to Salesforce.com for organizations selling complex configurable products.

Zack Cramer presented SalesGenie.com inside Salesforce.com, their new AppExchange offering which provides contact names for the small to medium sized business market and the consumer market. Zack highlighted how Salesgenie can push purchased leads seamlessly into Salesforce.com.

Our next meeting is planned for sometime in early April; however, the agenda is not set yet, so I welcome suggestions for volunteer speakers or potential presentation topics.
