Joy,
Thanks for your feedback and suggestions for the next meeting. It sounds like there is interest in more interaction among members, and sharing of tips and techniques. I will allocate some time for this in the next meeting. Thanks.
Best regards,
David Gildar

David, I like Heilees suggestion as well. That would be quite interesting. A topic of discussion would be good to get things going at the first. Also I vote for going by user numbers or industry - as it would be very beneficial for the beginning skill levels to be grouped with the higher levels.

I was thinking of another theme for a meeting could be The Small Stuff or something similar - basically collect a number of workarounds (perhaps from our membership) to common problems, small improvements that give big impact, etc. For example, using a rollup field to expose info so you dont have to change screens, how to implement an image into Accounts or Opportunities (traffic lights or speed dials for info, client photos etc for the personal touch)...Im sure the membership can come up with lots, those are just two that weve done that have been impactful.

Heilee,
Thanks for your suggestion regarding the format for the next meeting. I will think about scheduling a breakout segment for novice users with smaller Salesforce.com implementations in the next meeting.
Best Regards,
David Gildar

Hello David,

Great information and glad I was able to attend. I have a suggestion for next meeting: we spoke briefly about it and would like to break up into small groups based on skill level and perhaps user numbers. This might be helpful since the challenges of our association varies from those who have hundreds of users. Any thoughts?

Thank you for posting the slides, very interesting. I am going to look into the Actions off a Search listing - I havent seen that yet.

As far as future vendor sponsors, I use Conga merge which is fantastic and I can do nothing but rave about them - but they are not based in AZ at all. Dont know if that makes a difference. But yes, I work closely with them and highly recommend them to anyone needing expanded merging capabilities.

Id love to hear/see members that are using salesforce for their recruiting/hiring/employee/PTO information. Im getting ready to implement that section and would like to see challenges/successes with that.
