Hi Folks,

My name is Mike Goodrich, Administrative Officer for Arlington Economic Development (AED). As you may know the original DC Metro Salesforce.com (SF) User group recently split into two groups:  Maryland and DC Metro. The Maryland group is being managed by my colleague, Sheila Marks, who many of you know. I will serve as the new leader for the DC Metro Group. My leadership goals are: peer learning, professional and respectful discussion, creating value, supporting results, and building professional SF user networks with exceptional insights. 

I am really thrilled about this first DC Metro SF User Kickoff meeting, since it really has been a while since we last met. The agenda for the this SF kickoff meeting is currently a work in progress, and will be sent to you, once completed.

Hello!

We have actually decided to split our large user group geographically.  We will have 2 groups - one in Maryland and the other in Virginia.  More details to follow.  We will also have a separate blog for each.

March 3 2008 is our first sfdc user group meeting for 2008!!!!!!  We're so excited to get back on track and get to know our new and not so new members.  Join us if you're able!!!  Please register for our Wash DC group and then RSVP to me!!  Thanks and hope to see you!!!!!!!!!!

The Reston User Group is being renamed to better reflect the local area.  From now on, it will be called the Washington, DC Metro User Group.  We will eventually change the URL to reflect the name change.  Plans are afoot to have a meeting early in the New Year.

Plans are underway to re-energize the Reston/Washington DC User Group.  We are looking for a local customer to co-lead the group and hope to hold a meeting in January '08.  Look for more information and a chance to network with users in the area at the City Tour event on November 15, 2007.
