April 27th Meeting Wrap-up
Hi everyone! Our first user group meeting was a great kickoff to the Tyson's Corner (Washington D.C.) user group. We had salesforce.com users from a variety of industries and at different adoption levels within their organizations.
Topics that we discussed included:
- Outlook integration with salesforce.com
- Security and sharing rules, especially with team selling
- How to use leads and when they should be converted to accounts, contacts, and opportunities
- Business rules processing and workflow
We also discussed enhancements to salesforce.com that people would like to see.
Next Meeting
The next release of salesforce.com is coming soon and among many other features it will include Custom Tabs and Objects for Professional Edition users. Since this functionality will be new to many, we want to have our next meeting focus on these new capabilities. Check out all the great features coming soon at the CRMSuccess Best Practices website.
We do not have a meeting location yet and are seeking a volunteer to host an evening meeting on May 23, 24, or 25 for approximately 10-15 people. If you'd like to volunteer, please click here to contact Sean Murphy directly.
Keep checking back here for additional details on our next meeting's date, location, and agenda. We look forward to seeing you there!
