Seattle
Summer '09 is sailing in, what features are you looking forward to most?
- Recurring Tasks
- Generic FROM Email Address Support (Send As)
- A TON of Salesforce Mobile features
- Profile Sharing Overrides
- Process Visualizer
- Force.com and Visual Force enhancements
Salesforce.com Training
So, it turns out that Salesforce.com has a new training partner in Seattle. They will be bringing more classes locally. This is great news for budding Admins and anyone looking to hone their skills.
You can check out the new training catalog here. ADM - 201 is being offered on 7/27, and they only have one person signed up for the class.
I've also been in touch with one of the people at Salesforce.com involved in coordinating training and if many people are interested in the same type of class, we can get together and they will bring a class here. With travel budgets being slashed, people still may have room for training and this could be an economical solution. Let me know if you're interested in ADM - 301 or any of the DEV courses!
Next Meeting and Cloudforce Tour coming to Seattle!
If you have not registered for the Cloudforce event in Seattle, you can do it here. The event promises to be like a mini Dreamforce with an Expo and breakout sessions. You really should come, it's local and it's FREE!
We will be having our Monthly User Group meeting after the event and our sponsor this month will be Ping Identity. They provide single sign on services for Salesforce.com as well as other systems. Want your users to be able to log on to Salesforce.com with their network password? These guys can help you out with that.
[Edit] This meeting will be in lieu of our normally scheduled meeting at Twisted Pair
Topics for the meeting aren't set in stone yet, but we will have some good stuff for you, I promise. If you have anything you want to talk about, please comment on this post or send Suz and I an email.
And, most importantly, I will be there after a two month absence! Big thanks to Suz for holding down the fort for me while I was gone! Oh, and I will NOT be wearing my kilt this time...
