Seattle

Welcome to Dreamforce

To all those who are attending, Welcome!  To all those that couldn't make it, hopefully these posts will give you a taste of what you're missing.

First for those of you who are here... the Expo opens for breakfast tomorrow at 7:30.  A full hour and a half before the keynote speech.  I'm not sure how they're doing it yet, there is "meal seating" in the Expo area and there is also Networking Lounge and Meal Seating in Hall A in Moscone South.  I think South is where the food will actually be.  I will have our User Group banner on a table there somewhere until probably 8:30am.  Then I'll head up to the "meeting place" under the pedestrian overpass from Yerba Buena over Howard street near the Zeum.  We'll head down around 8:45 if you're interested in sitting with the group.

For those of you not here, this Dreamforce is shaping up to being one of the craziest (at least in the number of people) ever.  Tonight at the reception there was more people than I've ever seen before on the welcome night.  It was very difficult to squeeze down the narrow aisles and more than once, my backpack almost took someone's drink out (tragedy, no?).

I'm really looking forward to the Keynotes and the platform state of the union.  Not to mention the Black Crowes tomorrow night.
