Following the silence.....A Meeting
Hey everyone in St. Louis and the Metro East, I apologize for the silence. We are planning a meeting for February 2008. We thought we'd try something different and meet in the morning. What are your thoughts? World Wide Technology in Westport Plaza has volunteered to host this meeting. We'll get more information to you as we work out the details.
At this point the Spring 08 release is due to go out in late January, so, along with time for networking and discussion, we should have a lot to talk about. If you have anything specific you'd like to discuss, let me know.
More details will follow and I hope you can join us.

Andrew and everyone. Astadia would like to help get this group up and running by offering to pay for everyone's lunch. We'll cater lunch (as long as World Wide Technology has a conference room that can accommodate people and food) and help get the word out. I have been involved in launching and supporting users groups in several cities and this is a sure fire way to get good attendance early in the process. I'm in KC,MO. yours is the closest SF.com user group I can find. I may get a day to come visit STL if I can receive notification of your upcoming meeting(s). I tried to join the group but I got an error on the enrollment page...KW

I have been actively working with the Nebraska (1st meeting in April and 2nd meeting last week) and Kansas City folks (first meeting June 11th) on their groups and will help St Louis as well. SFDC clients in the St Louis area are worth it! We can tie the meeting to the Summer '08 release. I will buy lunch and help secure the location if need be.
