We have a host (PSCU Financial Services) and the date for the next User Group Meeting - all we are missing is you!

Please join us for the September User Group Meeting where we will be discussing Campaigns, Dashboards, Dreamforce and some new things we will find in the Winter '10 release.

There will be food and coffee served.

This posting has a dual purpose. The first is to invite you to the Orlando User Group Meeting that is being help in a webinar format on August 27. I spoke with Joshua Hoskins, the Orlando User Group Leader, and this webinar will be packed full of great information and I highly recommend that you attend this presentation! Click to RSVP.

Secondly, I am planning the next Tampa User Group Meeting for the week of September 21st. I am looking forward to getting everyone together again and have some great content to share.

I am looking for a location to hold the meeting at, is anyone interested in hosting this meeting? Please let me know if you have a space that you can secure for a 1-2 hour meeting.

As many of you know, Salesforce offers many different training classes - for beginner users to advanced developers. I received an email today from Allison Andrade who is a training account executive from Salesforce.com. She passed on some great news for members of the user group;

"I was hoping you could help spread the word that training is big in the Tampa area and a great way to become a highly valued resource within individual corporations. 

We offer our Administrator and Developer courses out of our training centers on a monthly basis, and to encourage both your help and the attendance of those in the group, we are offering a 10% discount on training to anyone who attends from the group from now until the end of August."

Thank you to all who attended the networking event last week and a big Thank You to The Rack for providing the space, the food, and the beverages. I hope that everyone found it valuable.

I am in the process of planning the next meeting (which will have more notice than the previous one) around the release of Summer 09. I am aiming for the middle of July to hold it.

If you are able to host a meeting, please let me know. Also, if you have any ideas for a topic to cover please reach out to me.

Hello Tampa User Group!

It was great meeting many of you at the Salesforce.com Lunch Briefing last week. To follow-up on the excitement that I saw, I have planned the next meeting for May 7th. The format for the meeting will be a networking event.

Happy New Year to all the Tampa User Group members!

With 2009 under way, it is time for us to meet again. I am currently planning the meeting for the middle to end of February. Please be on the look out for the exact time and date in your email on this blog.

Our first meeting was held the week after Thanksgiving. We did discuss some logistics of this group such as;

• What times will work best (morning or afternoon)
• What everyone hopes to gain from their participation in this group
• And some recommended topics for discussion.
